Hawkins County Man Charged With Eighth DUI Offense

A Hawkins County man with a long history of DUI convictions is charged with DUI eighth offense. 53 year old Benny Charles Larkins, first refused to stop for police. But when police did manage to bring Larkins to a stop for speeding he admitted to drinking at first four to five beers, but changed that story to about 12 or so. As of Tuesday, Larkins remained in the Hawkins County Jail without bond.
