Boone Lake Property Owners Get Information Update On Boone Dam Repairs

The Boone Dam repair project is scheduled to be completed by July of 2022. That was just one piece of information hundreds of attendees found out Tuesday night at an information fair hosted by the TVA. The project began three years ago after an underground leak was detected and since then water levels have been drastically lowered. Home owners around Boone Lake also learned TVA plans to clear about half of the exposed lake bottom beginning the first of next year and also plan to clear vegetation around the lake.
