Two Arrested For Beating And Robbing Victim In Gray

The Washington County Tennessee Sheriff’s Office says two individuals have been arrested in connection with an August beating and robbing of a victim on Kingsport Highway in Gray, Tennessee. 61 year old Billy Riley of Johnson City and 26 year old April Guinn were arrested after an investigation revealed the victim had suffered head injuries and was robbed and kicked multiple times in the head by Riley. Riley is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on September 11, while Guinn is scheduled for arraignment on Monday. Each faces one county of aggravated assault and one count of aggravated robbery. The investigation is ongoing and other charges are pending.
