Lee County man captured in Kentucky following high-speed chase

A Lee County, Virginia man is jailed after leading police on a high-speed chase that stretched into Kentucky.

A report from Sheriff Gary Parsons said officers tried to conduct a traffic stop on Connor Wiles, 20, of Pennington Gap, when he sped away and headed toward Kentucky on Highway 421. Wiles was later arrested in Harlan County and officials are awaiting his extradition. He faces several charges including eluding and reckless driving.
