Greene County authorities searching for suspect wanted on statutory rape charge

The Greene County Sheriff’s Department is searching for a man wanted for charges including statutory rape.

According to the department’s warrant division, Joseph Wayne Stanton, 24, of Bulls Gap faces a charge of statutory rape and failure to appear on charges of domestic assault. Anyone with information on Stanton’s location should call authorities.
