Town of Wise next up to consider becoming 2nd amendment sanctuary

Another area in Southwest Virginia is vying to become the newest 2nd amendment sanctuary and follow the trend of the rest of the region.

On Monday, the Town of Wise posted on social media its intentions to hold a special called meeting next Monday to discuss a resolution to make the town a second amendment sanctuary. According to the Virginia Citizens Defense League, 115 towns, cities, and counties in the state have made the declaration, including Wise County and several of its neighbors.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m.
