Washington County Tennessee Ranks Strong On Well Being Of It’s Children

Washington County Tennessee ranks among the top counties in the state when it comes to the well being of its children. That’s according to a a recently published report from the Tennessee Commission On Children and Youth. At 5th among the state’s 95 counties, Washington County’s best rankings include high percentages of third to eighth grade students demonstrating proficiency on state reading and math tests. The county also ranks strong when it comes to the low number of children without health insurance.
