BTPD: Phone call of report of shooting near Bristol Regional Medical Center under investigation

Bristol, TN Police are looking into a call of a reported shooting near the Bristol Regional Medical Center after finding no evidence that any incident had happened.

The department says they received a call yesterday morning around 7 a.m of a report of a shooting near the hospital, but police say upon arrival, were unable to find a victim or suspect.

Officers are continuing to investigate the original source of the call.
