Tip leads to meth carrier’s arrest in Sullivan County

A tip about a carrier transporting a large amount of meth to Sullivan County was arrested following a traffic stop.

A report from the Sheriff’s Office said Crystal Wallen, 49, of Church Hill, faces drug and weapon charges stemming from the July 8th incident.

Investigators found more than 14 ounces of meth in Wallen’s vehicle along with $2,700 in cash, drug paraphernalia, and a 9mm handgun.
