Positive Cases Of COVID-19 Jumps Eleven Percent In Last Seven Days In Region

Ballad Health says the State of Tennessee is reporting a more than an eleven percent increase of positive COVID-19 cases during the past week in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. To give you some perspective, since March, there’s been seventy six deaths in the 21 county service area. And in the last seven days there’s been a total of 18 deaths. There are 95 patients with COVID-19 in Ballad hospitals, the total number of COVID-19 patients under investigation is 20, with 60 designated COVID-19 beds available.
