Ballad Health Providing Pubic Advantage With Recent Merger…According To Department Of Health

Ballad Health’s merger between Mountain States Health Alliance and Wellmont Health System is providing a public advantage. That’s according to the Tennessee Department of Health from a statement in a news release from Ballad Health. In the release, the department says it’s their determination the Ballad Certificate of Public Advantage has provided the region with improvements in a majority of quality measures including, lower costs for patients, employers and taxpayers, and improved patient satisfaction.
