TBI agents conduct missing person investigation at home near Hawkins County/Hamblen County border

Personnel with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Hamblen County Sheriff’s Office spent the majority of Friday on property located near the Hawkins County border to try and find clues related to a missing person.

Hamblen County Sheriff Esco Jarnagin reported on social media that their search included a home and a plot of land located in the Whitesburg area.

Officers and agents could be seen digging near the house and sifting through dirt.

Jarnagin would not comment on the person they are searching for as the investigation continues.
