Boil water notice in effect for portions of Lee County, VA

Some residents in the Lee County, VA area are asked to boil their water following a main water break.

A notice from the Town of Pennington Gap says all Dryden water customers as well as Pennington Gap customers from Alternate 58 bridge towards Dryden are under a boil water notice. The town asks all water should be brought to a rolling boil and let it boil for one minute before use.

The boil water advisory is in effect until further notice.
