Three Local High School Students Receive Top Honors

This year in Tennessee, there were only nine Advanced Placement International Diplomas awarded and three of those awards were handed out to Kingsport Dobyns-Bennett High School students. Vandana Nathan, Vikram Nathan and Rhyley Vaughn have each demonstrated mastery of an Advanced Placement Language, which means, the three completed a total of no less than five language courses at DB. The trio also earned a passing grade on an Advanced Placement exam. The diploma allows the students to develop critical thinking, research, and presentation skills.
