Southwest Virginia College Ranks Sixth For Social Mobility

The University of Virginia College at Wise has many students who are first in their family to enter college. And the College continues to provide support with resources to help students successfully complete a college degree. That support is paying off as the College has been ranked sixth in the nation for producing graduates who do well when it comes to social mobility. The ranking was made by U.S. News and World Report after looking at how many students come from homes whose family incomes are less than 50 thousand dollars each year.
