UPDATE: Former Cocke County detention officer pleads guilty to having sex with inmate

A Greeneville, Tennessee man once employed by the Cocke County Sheriff’s Office has pleaded guilty to sexual contact with an inmate.

Information from Criminal Court says Hayden Bryce Throckmorton could receive up to three years in prison at his sentencing hearing on Oct. 26.

Investigators said Throckmorton, 19, had sex with the inmate on two occasions and also supplied the prisoner with a cell phone.
