Two More Arrested In Motel Room Robbery
Bristol, Virginia authorities have captured the two remaining suspects in last weeks motel room robbery. 19 year old Antonio Herrill and 18 year old Matthew Davis were arrested Wednesday night. Authorities believe that they used a gun and a baseball bat to attack and rob a man at the motel. Three other men were already in custody.

Women Arrested Filing False Report Of Rape
Two Telford women have been arrested for filing a false report of a rape. 18 year old Jessica Alexander and 29 year old Tammy Ortego had told authorities that two men came to their residence and raped them. The women later recanted to their story, telling authorities that they had sex with the men in exchange for a pack of cigarettes. They admitted that they decided to file the report because they didn't like the sex.

Woman Arrested For TennCare Fraud
A Kingsport woman has been arrested on TennCare fraud charges. Officials say that 51 year old Deborah Boutchyard is alleged to have gone to several doctors trying to get prescriptions for controlled substances. She's also been charged with theft over one thousand dollars. Boutchyard faces up to two years in prison on each of the eight counts.

Man Arraigned Robbing Conv. Store Twice, Raping Clerk
A Johnson City man arrested last week for robbing the same convenience store twice and raping a female clerk was in court on Tuesday. James Tennessee Vance is accused of holding up the Roadrunner on North Broadway in November and again on January 17th. Warrants filed in the case charge Vance with raping the female clerk at gunpoint during the second robbery.

Man Indicted Taking Drug Buy Money Failing To Return
A Kingsport man that allegedly took drug buy money and failed to return has been indicted by a grand jury. 21 year old Jeffery T. Marshall was indicted on a single charge of theft of 500 dollars or less. He was arrested last September by members of the 2nd Judicial District Drug Task Force.

Wanted Fugitive Captured
One of Washington County, Tennessee's most wanted has been captured. John Paul Burke was arrested in Harlan County, Kentucky and brought back to the Washington County Detention Center on Monday. He was wanted for attempted aggravated robbery and failure to appear in court. He had been on the Most Wanted Fugitives list for over a year.

Woman Arrested For Cashing Counterfeit Check
An Erwin woman has been arrested by Johnson City Police for allegedly cashing a counterfeit check at a Johnson City bank. 28 year old Themla Castillo was booked into the Washington County Detention Center where she is being held on a 10 thousand dollar bond.

Lawsuit Against JCPD Dismissed
A federal discrimination lawsuit against the Johnson City Police Department has been dismissed. The suit stems from the 2007 sting operation at Winged Deer Park and Buffalo Mountain Park. 40 men were arrested during that sting. In October, 2008 Kenneth Giles of Bristol, Virginia filed suit alleging that the department tried to attract additional attention to the case by including their photographs in a press release. The suit claimed the men were targeted because of their sexual orientation.

Third Suspect Arrested In Motel Robbery
A third person has been arrested in a motel robbery in Bristol, Virginia. 33 year old William Charles Howard is alleged to have been involved with the robbery at the Howard Johnson Motel Wednesday night. Police are still looking for two other men. 19 year old Antonio Herrill and 18 year old Matthew Davis of Bristol, Virginia are being looked for.

Model City Vice Raid
Kingsport Vice Detectives raided a Willow Street residence late Monday night. During the execution of the search warrant detectives located over an ounce of crack cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Three people were arrested. 47 year old Susan Copas, 27 year old Kimberly Copas and 27 year old Nicole Collins were charged and taken to the city jail. During the booking process Susan Copas was found to have hidden some crack cocaine under her clothing. She was additionally charged with introduction of contraband into a penal facility.
