Johnson City Man's Murder Conviction Upheld by Appellate Court
A state appellate court panel confirms the first degree murder conviction of Poncho Juan Delgado of Johnson City. He's serving life in prison for stabbing another man to death in 2006. Prosecutors argued the brutality of the slaying was sufficient evidence to prove it. The appellate judges agreed, citing witnesses who testified Delgado told them Curtis had molested his nephew and thatís why he killed the man.
