Johnson City Woman Jailed for Stabbing Roommate
Johnson City officers were called to 303 Roosevelt Drive after a stabbing. 51-year old Louene Rash is accused of stabbing her roommate in the hand during an argument. The victim was treated at the VA, Rash was taken to jail on an Aggravated Domestic Assault charge.

Johnson City Woman to serve 6 Months for Killing Boyfriend
A judge in Johnson City gives a woman six months to serve jail, suspending the rest of an eight year prison term, stemming from her guilty plea to manslaughter in the killing of her boyfriend. The judge noted that 31-year old Elizabeth Archer had no prior criminal history. She pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter, reduced from the original charge of second degree murder in the stabbing of Jeremy Mounts at their home on Chestnut Street. Evidence indicated both were intoxicated and argued over politics, leading to an altercation in which Archer claimed Mounts tried to choke her so she grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed him.

Couple Arrested After Johnson City Stabbing Incident
Johnson City police have arrested a couple after a stabbing incident on Mountcastle Drive. It started as a fight, but quickly turned worse as 44-year old Brandon Mays pulled a knife and stabbed a man in the side. His girlfriend, 25-year old Emily Elam was there too. When questioned, she made up a false alibi and tried to cover for her boyfriend, but witnesses and a video surfaced. The victim is being treated at the Johnson City Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.

Stabbing Under Investigation in Johnson City
Police in Johnson City are looking for a suspect in a Thursday morning stabbing incident at an apartment complex in the 100 block of East Walnut Street. Early reports said a male victim was found with several stab wounds and was later transported to Johnson City Medical Center for treatment. There has been no word on his condition or a motive in the case.

Erwin Man Jailed After October Stabbing Incident
A man accused of attempted first degree murder has been able to elude police since last fall, but thanks to a tip, Johnson City Police say he's now in custody. 21-year old Zachary Smith-Lyon is accused of attacking and stabbing his victim multiple times at Miller Crest Apartments in Johnson City. That incident happened on October 16th and through their months long investigation, detectives learned Smith-Lyon was staying in Erwin. Officers say he was arrested without incident and is being held under $100,000 bond.

Sheehan then got into a physical altercation with the woman's teenage son, leading the teen to stab Sheehan in the back. Sheehan has been charged with one count of domestic assault.

Woman Pleads Guilty to Lesser Charge After Stabbing Boyfriend
A Johnson City woman who became violent after a political argument is waiting to find out how long she'll spend in prison. 31-year old Elizabeth Archer stabbed and killed Jeremy Mounts at their Chestnut Street home back in July 2013. She entered a guilty plea to a lesser charge of voluntary manslaughter and remains free on bond. Archer is scheduled for a sentencing hearing on February 20th.
