A Church Hill man was arrested for allegedly firing 20 gunshots in the direction of his mother. 32 year old Brian Dale Vleminckx had been in an argument with his mother over his dog getting loose. Police disarmed the man and recovered a 9mm pistol. He continued to be combative with officers and had to be shackled. He was charged with possession of a firearm by an intoxicated person, resisting arrest and public intoxication.
