A Kingsport man is facing charges in connection with the discovery of a man's body in Newberry, South Carolina. Jeremiah Shane Fields bought prescriptions drugs and was under the influence of oxycodone and xanax. He awoke to find 37 year old Keith Richard Konkol dead. Fields is alleged to have drug Konkol's body into a wooded area near Interstate 26 before returning to Kingsport. Authorities say they're is no indication that Fields caused Konkol's death. Fields is being held inthe Sullivan County jail.
