A state panel examining the prospect of uranium mining in Virginia has met with critics who feel the process is not sufficiently transparent, leaving a few still skeptical. The group was formed by Gov. Bob McDonnell to look at the safety of mining a 119-million-pound deposit in Pittsylvania County.
