Woman Hit By Train A Johnson City woman is in critical condition after being hit head-on by a 75-car Norfolk Southern train. The incident happened Tuesday morning near the Elm Street grade crossing. 22 year old Stormi Cable was apparently walking on the tracks. The train's engineer says he saw a woman walking on the track, and he blew the horn about 3/10ths of a mile before the train hit her. Cable suffered severe injuries. Both arms and legs were broken, along with 12 verterbrae. It's reported that she also suffered a head injury and may have to have her foot amputated. (jb)
