An Old Wives Tale?
Are we going to miss the deep cold temperatures of winter when it comes to fighting bugs this year. The manager of Southern States Cooperative in Bristol, Richard Blessing says it's just not true that cold weather kills insects over the winter months. He says in colder temperatures the bugs dig deeper and it just takes them longer to burrow out in the spring. Maybe it's just the early warmer temperatures but a lot of complaints are being heard about insects already this year.(CS)
