Greene Co. 7th Grader Killed By School Bus
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is inspecting the school bus that was involved in a fatal accident killing a child Thursday morning in Greene County. Troopers say a 12-year-old boy was struck and killed by the bus on Holder Road between Snaps Ferry Road and the Kingsport Highway, State Route 93. The fatal accident occurred about 6:40 AM and apparently there were no other children on the bus at the time. The name of the child was not being released at this time. The investigation is continuing according to Lieut. Jarrett Ramsey of THP Fall Branch headquarters.(CS)
