Scott County Woman Faces First Degree Murder
A woman has now been charged with first degree murder of her husband. The ongoing murder investigation in Scott County Virginia brings charges against Melissa Justice Napier. Scott County Commonwealth Attorney Marcus McClung says she did turn herself in to authorities and now faces charges of first degree murder and attempt to willfully and intentionally defile a dead body. Police found William Napier's body in their home on Upper Possum Creek Road but Investigators have not released a cause of death or a motive as of yet. Napier is being held in the Duffield, Virginia Regional Jail without bond. (bg)
