Woman Held In Connection With Husband's Death
A Gate City woman is being held without bond in connection with the death of her husband. 40 year old Melissa Napier has been charged with felony first-degree murder and defiling a corpse. The body of 74 year old Billy Napier was found at his home on Upper Possum Creek in Yuma. Police are remaining tight-lipped about the cause of death or a possible motive. They believe that Mr. Napier died on March 20th, but his body was not discovered until Thursday. Melissa Napier turned herself into law enforcement over the weekend. She is scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday. (jb)
