Bluff City Upholds Firing Of Police Officer
Bluff City leaders have upheld the firing of one of it's police officers. Billy Mark Roberts was fired on April 5th. The city claimes he fell asleep at work, did not perform his duties properly, and that he missed a mandatory training exercise. Roberts claims his firing was retaliation for his filing a complaint against City Manager Judy Delaney. Roberts has an attorney and plans of filing a lawsuit against the town. (jb)
