Men Jump From Moving Car And Run From Cops
Johnson City police received a surprise when they tried to stop a stolen car. The vehicle evaded officers and 26 year old William Shamblin and 31 year old Joshua Owens jumped from the moving vehicle and fled on foot. Shamblin and Owens were caught after a brief foot chase and arrested. Shamblin is being held under a 22 thousand dollar bond. Owens is under a 10 thousand dollar bond. Both men will be arraigned Friday morning. (jb)
