A trial date has been scheduled for a Piney Flats man accused of sexually assaulting a woman and trying to kill her. Arthur Ireson is charged with attempted second degree murder, aggravated rape and aggravated assault. He allegedly attacked the woman after she gave him and a female companion a ride home from a Johnson City bar. The incident happened in October 2010. Ireson will stand trial on June 18th. (jb)
