Man Handcuffs Himself To Stop Smoking, Loses Key
How far would you go to quit smoking? A Coeburn man went to the extremes this past week and had to be rescued by EMS and police. A woman called 9-1-1 to report that her next door neighbor had handcuffed himself so he could not smoke a cigarette. The only problem was that the man had lost the keys to the cuffs. EMS responded, but had to call in police to help them get the handcuffs off of the man. (JB)
