Short List Announced For New Police Chief
Johnson City police have announced the short list of candidates for police chief. Current Chief John Lowry will be retiring on May 17th. All of the five that made the final cut are in-house candidates. Captains Debbie Bothelo, Steve Smith, and Karl Turner made the cut along with Majors Mark Sirois and Gary Younger. All five will be interviewed by an assessment board before the end of May and a new Chief selected. (jb)
