Pennsylvania Man Sentenced For Statutory Rape
A Pennsylvania man that drove to Elizabethton to pick up an underage girl has had his charges downgraded. 29 year old Eric Johnson was originally charged with aggravated statutory rape and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. In a plea agreement, Johnson was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail and 18 months on probation. He was arrested in April, 2011 after the girls father discovered explicit text messages on the 16 year old girl's cell phone. Johnson admitted to police that he had driven her with the idea of having sex with the underage girl. (jb)
