Dismissal For a Police Officer in Saltville
The Saltville Town Council wants dismissal for a police officer now councilman elect. Randall Brickey has been placed on paid administrative leave. Members approved a recommendation that Saltville Police Chief Rob Hall fire officer Brickey who has worked at the Police Department since 2006. He has been on paid leave since May 4th pending the results of an internal investigation which appears to be a personnel matter. Brickey filled one of three slots on the board to be vacated the end of June. He was elected May First to serve on the six-member Saltville Town Council. Town Manager Mike Taylor directed all questions to Chief Hall. (bg)
