A Friday morning traffic accident Has claimed the life of the Kingsport man. 46-year-old Stephen Eastis of Little Valley Road suffered fatal injuries when his pickup truck ran out of control at the 1.4 mile marker of I 26. The Kingsport Traffic Unit’s investigation indicated the vehicle and ran out of control struck the guard rail and ran into a cable barrier before striking a tree. Eastis suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was apparently not wearing a seatbelt. Witnesses indicated there were no other vehicles involved.(CS)
