Warehouse Fire Under Investigation
Flames destroyed the old Co-Op Tobacco Warehouse in Johnson City Sunday. Assistant Fire Chief Mark Finucane says dried grass sod, grass seed, and fertilizer were stored in the warehouse. No injuries were reported fighting the fire. At the height of the fire there was concern about radiant heat to several businesses that faced W. Market St.
