Memorial Service
The Fraternal Order of Police in Bristol, Virginia will hold a memorial ceremony today. It will honor officers that have lost their lives in the performance of their duties. In 1962 President John F. Kennedy designated May 15th Peace Officers Memorial Day. The ceremony will be held on the steps of the Bristol, Virginia Court House. Guest speaker will be Virginia Senator Bill Carrico. (jb)
