Body Found in Mohawk with Gun Shot Wound
The Greene County Sheriff's Department is investigating circumstances surrounding a dead body found in a field in Mohawk. 46-year-old Stephen Wayne Hensley was found shot in the head in a field across the road from his home. His body was discovered Tuesday morning lying near a fence row at a tree line. He was missing since Monday afternoon. The investigation revealed a gunshot wound to the head and a pistol under his body. Hensley's body was transported for autopsy by Greene County EMS. The Midway Volunteer Fire Department and the Greene County Sheriff's Department responded. (bg)
