Commission Chairman May Get Pay Raise
A pay raise could be coming to the Washington County, Tennessee Commission Chairman. The county's budget committee has voted to increase the pay of Greg Matherly from $50 per month to $500 per month. Matherly is a Lieutenant with the Sheriff's Department and has been taking vacation days in order to perform his duties on the commission. The full commission is expected to vote on the raise at their next meeting. (jb)
