A Sullivan County jail inmate was rushed to Bristol Regional Medical center after trying to commit suicide. Jailers were alerted to a problem in 40 year old Shannon Lee Graham's cell just before 2:00 o'clock. He had used a torn sheet in an attempt to hang himself. CPR was performed until EMS could arrive. He was taken to the hospital where he is listed in critical condition. Graham was in jail on Kidnapping, Aggravated Burglary, and Aggravated Assault charges. (jb)
