STEM Students Compete in Knoxville This Weekend
Over eight thousand students working with nearly 13-hundred teams are competing in Knoxville. Destination Imagination is going on at the University of Tennessee's Thompson Boling Arena. The event is described as a celebration of creativity. The two day challenge involves the creative application of science, technology, engineering and math. Organizers stress critical thinking, innovation and team collaboration and participants represent 45-states and 12 countries. Campus housing and local hotels are full through Saturday night when the winners will be announced. (bg)
