One man is in jail, and another man is in the hospital after an incident outside of a Kingsport grocery store. According to Detective Monica Swayze it began as a fist fight in the parking lot of the IGA Store on West Sullivan Street. 37 year old Roy Wayne Carrico is alleged to have slashed the chest of 18 year old Eric Rodriguez with an unknown object. Rodriguez was able to drive himself to Holston Valley Hospital for treatment. (jb)
