Police Chief Resigns
Elizabethton Police Chief Matt Bailey has turned in his resignation. We were the first to tell you last week that he had received a conditional job offer. City Manager Fred Edens has confirmed that Bailey has given the city a three week notice. Chief Bailey has not commented on his resignation or where he may be going to work. (jb)
