TSA Finds Handgun In Carry On Baggage
Security screeners at Tri-Cities Regional Airport discovered a handgun in carry on baggage. The .380 Ruger and a loaded clip were found Thursday morning. Airport police were called in and the gun and ammunition were confiscated. The owner of the gun was determined to not be a threat and was allowed to continue on to his destination. This is the first handgun discovered in carry on baggage at Tri Cities this year. (jb)
