Attempted Murder Charges Filed
53-year-old Johnson City man has been jailed after shooting a crossbow and pistol at his ex-roommate. 53-year-old Gerald D Taylor was arrested a boat dock near the residence he is alleged to have broken into on Ashworth Court. Taylor is accused of firing a crossbow and a pistol unidentified victim who fled the residence. Taylor was under an order of protection from last month. Taylor is charged with attempted first-degree murder aggravated burglary and violation of an order of protection. He's being held in Washington County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.(CS)
