Lt. Govenor Bolling in Bristol
Virginia Lieut. Gov. Bill Bolling was on hand for opening ceremonies for a new plant in Bristol Virginia. American Century, LLC opened their new container manufacturing facility on Beacon Road just off King Mill Pike. Bolling touted the efforts of state government recruiting industry to the Commonwealth. The company began operation September 1, last year with 15 employees and they're hoping to expand employment to between 40 and 50 workers by April of next year. They manufacture shipping containers and self-contained packaging for variety of large, heavy, and at times dangerous materials.(CS)
