Two Arrested At Sonic
Hawkins County deputies arrested two people on drug charges at the Sonic in Rogersville. 47 year old Mary Lopez and 62 year old Oscar Osborne pulled in and ordered food for themselves, but not for the 9 year old boy in the back seat. Police were there because of a tip that the couple were intoxicated and in possession of controlled substances. The couple were found to be in possession, and while they were being questioned; the 9 year old boy ate both of their combo meals. He's been turned over to Child Services. Lopez and Osborne are in jail. (jb)
