Hawkins Man Dies In Two-Car Crash
An early Sunday morning accident has claimed the life of a Hawkins County man. It happened just after midnight on State Route 113 in the Saint Clair community. 43 year old Paul Qualls of Rogersville was traveling north when he lost control, ran off the roadway, and then back onto the road. A pickup driven by Cory Davenport of Whitesburg was behind him. His pickup struck the vehicle, splitting it in two. Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the accident. They say that Qualls was not wearing a seatbelt, and it would have helped. (jb)
