Kingsport Police detectives were in the right place at the right time. A call came in around 9;30 Monday night that someone was at Collins Auto Sales on Lynn Garden Drive, shining a light into cars. Detective Greg Lane and Detective Corporal Steve Summey were close by and were able to catch 25 year old Kevin McCrary in the act.
