Washington County, Virginia deputies have just wrapped up an undercover alcohol sting operation that began in February. Sheriff Fred Newman tells us the operation was funded by a 5,000 dollar federal grant. His department sent an underage informant out 82 times. Twelve underage purchases were made during the sting. Violators were charged with a Class I Misdemeanor. (jb)
