ETSU Pharmacy Offers Dual Degree
East Tennessee State University's pharmacy school will offer a dual degree, beginning this fall. According to the Johnson City Press, students at the Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy will be able to complement their pharmacy degree with a master's in public health. Pharmacy Dean Larry Calhoun said the dual degree will poise graduates to hold jobs in health care policy advising roles, health care administration roles and provides a background in preventive health care and health care promotional strategies. Calhoun said ETSU is also planning a dual degree in business administration for pharmacy students. (bg)
